K-7(6935) is one of the speticular rocke and ice peaks .It’s located in Charakusa, in last village Hushey.It’s absolutely easy access to Base camp as it takes 2/3 days from Hushey village .

K-7(6935) is one of the speticular rocke and ice peaks .It’s located in Charakusa, in last village Hushey.It’s absolutely easy access to Base camp as it takes 2/3 days from Hushey village .
It was first attempt by Japanese in 1984 consisting of 08 members, but only four could made success among 08.
This peak is situated in the Saltoro and Masherbrum ranges. The nearby glaciers are Kaberi and Saraksa. Possible route to the peak is from Khaplu in Baltistan through Tagas, Dumsum and Kaberi glacier. Some maps show its height as 6,934m, while others show it as 6,935m.
It was in 1955 that members of Harvard Mountaineering Club Karakorum Expedition examined K-7 peak with a view to climbing it. In 1976, an eight member strong expedition of Fukuoka Climbing Club expedition from Japan tried there.
